Tätigkeit:

Project name: S4HANA Roles & Responsibilities Strategy (aka R&R)

 

Project description: The aim of the project is to collect inputs for definition of R&R and Capacity management strategy when the transition to S4HANA environment is completed.

 

Task description - The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are performed independently by the external contractor based on own knowledge and experience:

 

- Analysis and documentation of business and IT activities performed within SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP solution landscapes. Default focus is on the areas of Finance, Controlling (incl. CATS) and Accounting

- Comparison of activity execution patterns between SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP environments.

- Categorization of activities according to predefined role groups:

°Business User

°Business Key User

°IT Functional Consultant

°IT Developer

°IT Architect

- Documentation of activity descriptions expected outputs, and interaction points between functional task clusters.

- Identification and documentation of competencies associated with the execution of categorized activities.

- Analysis and documentation of learning and knowledge enablement topics associated with the identified competencies.

- Preparation of role interaction models illustrating activity ownership, collaboration points, and handover interfaces between the defined role groups, handover of a full documentation to uniper for further use.

- Creation and maintenance of documentation describing activity allocation across the defined role categories.

- Recording of findings, assumptions, and proposed activity mappings in designated project repositories (Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams).

- Preparation of status summaries and documentation packages for review within the project governance framework.

 

Deliverables

- Documentation of an activity catalog covering SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP environments.

- Categorization matrix of activities by predefined role groups.

- Competency mapping linked to identified activities.

- Training topic overview associated with documented competencies.

- Draft role interaction and activity allocation model for the defined role groups.

- Supporting documentation and status reporting maintained in designated project repositories.

 

Framework Conditions

- Services are executed in accordance with project documentation, methodologies, templates, governance requirements, and operating procedures applicable within the project environment. Outputs are documented and maintained in the designated collaboration and documentation repositories.

- Creation of comprehensive documentation with all results regarding the above mentioned tasks with subsequent handover to Uniper for review and approval for further usage.

 

Framework for Service Provision & Status Clarification:

Uniper provides the contractor in advance with all information and documents required for the provision of the services. For the duration of the project, system access will be granted based on the principle of minimality,

strictly limited to those systems necessary for the autonomous provision of services. This does not entail any further integration into Uniper’s operational processes or organizational structures.

 

Skills:

Kenntnisse in Architekture und Entwicklungsbereich werden vorausgesetzt. Provision of services related to the analysis and documentation of activities within SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP environments. The scope includes the review and categorization of activities associated with the utilization of SAP S/4HANA solutions hosted in SAP Private Cloud and integrated with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), as well as comparison with activities performed in SAP ERP environments utilizing SAP BTP components Englisch wird vorausgesetzt; Deutsch nice to have. Gerne können Profile auch außerhalb von Deutschland vorgestellt werden, da 100% remote.

 

 

 

Hauptaufgaben des externen Beraters (m/w/d):

 

1. Analyse & Marktvergleich (S/4HANA & SAP-Zukunft):

 

- Recherche & Faktencheck: Gegenüberstellung von SAP-Marketingaussagen (z. B. Entfall klassischer Modul-Consultants wie SD, FI, CO) und den tatsächlichen Anforderungen in der Realität („was es wirklich gibt und was nur versprochen wurde“).

 

- Aufgaben- & Rollenwandel analysieren: Ermitteln, welche Tätigkeiten im Zuge des Wechsel zu S/4HANA (RISE-Umgebung) künftig IT-Aufgaben bleiben und welche zu Enduser-/Fachbereichs-Aufgaben werden.

 

2. Vorstellung von Zukunftstechnologien & Hosting:

 

- Abdecken der Technologieseite: Analyse neuer Entwicklungsansätze über ABAP hinaus, insbesondere SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform / AI Platform) und neue Tätigkeiten wie CAP-Entwicklung.

 

- Berücksichtigung der Hosting-Komponente (SAP Private Cloud).

 

3. Erstellung von Entscheidungsvorlagen & Unterlagen:

 

- Aufbereitung und Zusammenfassung der Ergebnisse in Entscheidungsvorlagen/Unterlagen

 

Ziel: Das Team befähigen, fundierte Entscheidungen zur strategischen Weiterentwicklung, Service-Anpassung, internen Kapazitätsplanung sowie zu Schulungsmaßnahmen für Mitarbeiter zu treffen.
