Every year, SBB carries out a large number of investments, which are managed over a multi-year horizon. As part of the introduction of S/4HANA, the investment planning and project execution process is fundamentally harmonised and standardised to provide greater transparency in investment decisions. The SAP module PPM and the BTP application Cobalt, developed by co-creation, are used for portfolio management and project execution in various areas such as planning, control and commissioning. All competencies are bundled across SBB in the ART (Agile Release Train) Require-to-retire (R2R) to ensure implementation. Are you looking for a challenge – we are a BizDevOps engineer for the successful S/4 migration using ETL and SAP Data Services.    

You will work in an agile, product- and process-oriented team that works together according to the SAFe methodology. Your main focus will be on the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. You will create, coordinate and verify the structure of the ETL processes. At the same time, you will ensure that the deliverables are coordinated with all relevant stakeholders in the Require-to-Retire process and that transparency is created over the planning including milestones.

Tasks

• Design and development of ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) using SAP Data Services to integrate the data objects for the demand and project process from different sources and integrate them into the SAP system.
• Support with data migration in the S/4 SBB program and with the integration of external and internal data sources into the SAP ecosystem.
• Identify and implement optimisations in existing ETL processes and data flows to improve performance and efficiency.
• Carrying out fault analyses and problem solving in existing SDS processes. Ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Preparation of technical documentation on developed processes and solutions to ensure sustainable maintenance.
• Supports IT with know-how/best practice for data integration and management.

Mandatory criteria

• Several years of experience in development with SAP Data Services (SDS) and in data integration.
• Sound knowledge of working with ETL processes, data modelling and database technologies (e.g. SQL, SAP HANA, Oracle, etc.).
• Experience in integrating SAP systems and modules (e.g. SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) and with the associated data structures.
• Several years of experience in at least one S/4 HANA transformation project (focusing on data integration and migration).
• Strong analytical skills and experience in troubleshooting in complex data environments.
• Very good knowledge of German and English round off your profile (bilingual program).

Target criteria

• It is advantageous if you have experience with the SAFe agile working methodology.
• Knowledge of SBB processes and stakeholders is also advantageous
